Monday Evening September 3, 2007The Community Bible Church hosted a wonderful evening celebrating the retirement of their pastor, Rev. Wilf Gaertner and his wife Sharon. Lots of great music and great words spoken by friends of his time (9 years) here in P.A. He was my mother's pastor the two years she spent in P.A. before she passed away, so we visited the church on special occasions. I also participate in the Men's Breakfasts hosted alternately between Community Bible and First Baptist Church. As well, Wilf joined our Men's Chorus last year and his rich baritone voice will be very much missed. A number of the Men's Chorus were able to be in attendance for this special evening. Wilf and Sharon will be moving into a new home when it is completed in Martensville, Sk. (just north of Saskatoon). We wish them both God's richest blessing in this new adventure in their lives.
