Farewell Supper for the Bellerbys - September 18th

Food and Fellowship was great at St. David's Anglican Church as we bid farewell to Guy Bellerby and his family, who are heading off to Nanoose Bay, BC. There was more toasting than roasting as people shared stories of their experiences with Guy and his family. I joined Dan Stroman and Randy Friesen in a rousing rendition of Glory and Love to the Men of Old, which Dan and Randy had recently sung to Guy on the golf course during the OK Hjertaas Tournament. I shared with Guy privately afterwards, that although he had a reputation of being Pharisaic on the Golf Course, it was also against the rules for him to help me line up my putts, which I very much appreciated and would greatly miss. St. David's and our Men's Bible Study will greatly miss Guy. We wish Guy and the his family God's richest blessing in their new home.
