Brighten my Soul

I just finished watching/listening to our Prince Albert Men's Chorus Spring Concert which was recorded on DVD. Overall it turned out very well and brought memories of the concert. I am getting a nice collection of our concerts on DVD, which make for a nice keepsake for years to come.

Our group this year has some new and old faces, which should make for an even better sound in our Chorus for this year.

The Monday evening of song and fellowship is an activity which I look forward to for many years to come, the Lord willing.

Finale Songwriter

This week I have started experimenting with arranging music with this new program. I am starting the Canticles in the Anglican Psalter. The object is to line up the words with the music for each verse. Richard Smith sent me a template to start with and I have consulted with Bob Gibson. I have successfully finished Cantate Domino and have finished the music and filling in the verses for Surge Illuminare. Lots to learn but with local help including my daughter and online help, I should be able to solve most problems as they develop.
Eventually, as I get more familiar with the software, I plan to arrange sacred music for male voices.
