My Jimmy - 2
Well, the damage in the Transfer Case was more extensive than first thought. Randy had to order in the part. It will be much better quality than what was originally in there. Not mechanically inclined so won't go into any detail. Should have the Jimmy back before I am finished my day at work at the CO-OP tomorrow. Managing to function with one car, so far.

My Jimmy
Yesterday, I had an interesting day with my 1999 Jimmy. I backed out of my driveway and came to an abrupt stop when I saw a small city bus approaching. When I went to drive away when safe to do so, I noticed a loud scary grinding sound coming from under the car. At the earliest convenience I left it with Walters Service. They were kind enough to give me a loaner car to drive. They phoned me back in about 2 hours to tell me the noise was coming from the Transfer box. I would have to take it to a transmission shop. I picked it up and drove it to Randy's Transmission because the owner's wife is my second cousin. I thought I better carry my Lubrico Auto Warranty in with me. I met with Randy and he informed me that he is a Lubrico Repair Depot. He phoned them and talked to them and I did as well. They assured me that the vehicle was covered. I had a nice visit with Randy's wife Tracey while waiting for things, and I take the Jimmy in Thursday to be repaired. Thank God for the Lubrico Warranty, and that Randy's Transmission is a Repair Depot. Whewh!! What a relief.
