For some time now I have wanted to give a positive review of Rick Lett's new CD. Now I think I have all the ducks lined up to actually do it. Firstly, I am biased. Rick Lett is a good friend of mine. We have participated in musical and Christian activities together. I don't want Rick's music to fall between the cracks because some people don't know what label to put on it. The guitar work is superb. The words of the songs are powerful and penetrating to one's mind and soul. Check out his URL to find out more.

I went to your blog last night, and I would like to thank you for your kind words. One minor thing you should know - the debt is now paid off for the church, so CD sales are being used to pay off my own debts re. making the CD now. I am actually hoping to be able to make a partial go of this music thing, and maybe even just stay a half-time teacher, and spend the rest of my time doing what I feel I do best - combining music with teaching about God reaching out to people today. That sounds way more noble than saying that CD sales are for my own finances now, but both ways of putting are the truth.
